Keep birds from landing and roosting in unwanted areas with Masterline Stainless Steel Bird Spikes. Bird spikes are an effective, humane and cost-effective bird control solution that will not harm birds. Virtually invisible, Masterline Stainless Steel Bird Spikes are ideal for use on rooflines, window sills, fences, ledges and can be used on a variety of flat or curved surfaces. Masterline Stainless Steel Bird Spikes are ready to use, easy to install, and do not require assembly. Each bird spike strip comes pre-assembled in two foot sections which reduces installation time. Masterline Stainless Steel Bird Spike design is made of high-quality stainless steel that will not rust or deteriorate in extreme conditions. The U.V. protected polycarbonate bird spike base is flexible, can bend 360, will fit flat/curved surfaces, and can be glued, screwed, or tied down. Prior to installation, remove all overhanging branches, leaves, nests, etc. Next, thoroughly clean and disinfect all surface areas. Allow area to dry before bird spike strip installation. DUE TO INFECTIOUS DISEASES ASSOCIATED WITH BIRD FECES, USE EXTREME CARE WHEN REMOVING NESTS AND BIRD DROPPINGS. If adhering bird spike strips to concrete, brick, steel, secure using a non-silicone outdoor construction-grade adhesive. For wood: use wood screws to secure bird spike strips to wood surfaces. For pipes and other areas: secure bird spike strips with nylon ties by wrapping and securing the tie around the base of the bird spike strip. To prevent birds from nesting behind the spike, leave no more than 1-inch gap between the wall and the bird spike strip. To prevent birds from sitting on the ledge, leave a minimum of ½ inch overhang between the tip of the bird spike and front/leading edge. For wide ledges and areas, multiple rows of bird spike strips may need to be installed. Install bird spike strips with 1-inch overlap. Masterline Stainless Steel Bird Spikes can be easily cut to desired size using tin snips, wire cutters, or snapped apart by hand along the narrow section of the bird spike strip base.
